What This Site Is For

Mission

The mission of SaveRemington.org is not to persuade visitors to adopt a particular viewpoint. It is to preserve history, promote transparency, provide public access to information, and encourage informed discussion based on documented evidence. Every design decision, page, and piece of content on this site is measured against those four purposes — and against respect for due process.

Editorial Standards

• Three kinds of statements, always labeled. Recorded public facts (a filing was made; an instrument was recorded; a release was issued) are stated as facts with citations. Allegations from pleadings are attributed to the party making them and labeled as allegations. Historical narrative is drawn from the general public record.
• Allegations are never presented as proven. No allegation is presented as a finding unless a court has so ruled, and rulings are cited when they exist. Pleading qualifications such as “upon information and belief” are preserved in our summaries.
• All sides, same shelf. Filings from every party — including responsive pleadings by defendants and the claims Roundhill asserts as a plaintiff in Delaware — are published or indexed with equal prominence as they become publicly available.
• No conclusions beyond the record. Profiles and summaries do not speculate about motive, character, or facts not in the public record.
• Primary sources over paraphrase. Wherever possible, the document itself is provided, and summaries link to it.
• Respect for individuals. This site publishes no private information, encourages no contact with any party, and condemns harassment of anyone named in these events.

Corrections Policy

Documented factual errors are corrected promptly and noted. Any person or entity named on this site may submit corrections, context, statements, or responsive filings to corrections@save-remington.org; verified submissions from named parties are published or linked with the same prominence as the material they address.

Independence & Funding

SaveRemington.org is an independent, non-commercial project. It sells nothing, hosts no advertising, and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Remington, RemArms, LLC, Roundhill Group LLC, Vista Outdoor Inc., any court, or any party to the litigation it documents.

Trademarks & Imagery

“Remington” and related marks are trademarks of their respective owners, used on this site solely to identify the subject of public reporting, historical commentary, and archival preservation — a nominative use. This site deliberately does not use the Remington logotype or trade dress.
